Founding Member terms

  1. What you get: every feature of the standard Pro plan, free for as long as your account is active and follows our Terms of Service. Pro isn't available yet; the benefit starts when Pro launches.
  2. What isn't included: one-off paid options (for example featuring a job), any plan above standard Pro, and transaction fees. If SideJobWorks later charges a fee on payments made through the platform, it applies to Founding Members too.
  3. Spots: 1,000 for clients and 1,000 for freelancers, counted separately. They go to the accounts that first meet the requirements, not the first to sign up. Accounts that existed before the program started count too.
  4. One account, one spot: an account that is active on both sides takes a single spot, on the side where it qualified first. One person may have one account; duplicate accounts are disqualified.
  5. Waiting period: after qualifying, your spot is held and numbered, and confirmed after 7 days if the requirements are still met. If a requirement stops being met during the wait, we warn you and give you 48 hours to fix it; otherwise the spot is released and you can qualify again while spots remain.
  6. After confirmation, your status is only removed for a violation: a duplicate account, a fake job or profile, a strike, or another breach of the Terms of Service. You'll be told why. A removed spot goes back to the program and is offered to the waitlist first.
  7. Member numbers count up per side in the order people qualify and are never reused, so a number shows when you joined. Numbers can go above 1,000 if spots are given back and taken again.
  8. Waitlist: when a side is full, you can join its waitlist. A spot that opens up goes to the first person on the waitlist who meets the requirements.
  9. The program runs until Pro launches. Before that, a side stops taking new members once its spots are full, and spots given back go to its waitlist. Accounts still in the waiting period when Pro launches are processed to the end.
  10. The benefit is personal to your account: it can't be transferred, sold or exchanged for money. It ends if the account is closed, by you or for a breach of the Terms.
  11. SideJobWorks makes the final decision on eligibility. We may change these rules with notice under section 11 of our Terms of Service, but not to take away the benefit from confirmed members who follow the Terms.

These terms are part of our Terms of Service. "Free Pro for the life of your account" means the standard Pro plan at no charge while your account is active and follows the Terms; it doesn't mean SideJobWorks will never charge for anything.
